We went for Sunday lunch (carvery). We were a large party, with 3 children, 2 requiring high chairs and a dog. We were accommodated in a separate room rather than the restaurant. This worked really well. Food was excellent (beef was beautifully cooked), staff were friendly and helpful. A thoughly enjoyable experience. Portions generous and very good value. Thank you.
We went along for Italian night and it was fantastic. From the wine-bottle candles and beautifully dressed tables to the amazing food, everything was spot on. We had five courses, starting with antipasti, and there was so much delicious food. The authentic baking really stood out, especially the focaccia, along with the homemade soup. The porchetta pork belly was incredible, and the tiramisu was the perfect finish. Italian music in the background created a great atmosphere, the Aperol spritz was a lovely touch, and finishing with a limoncello was the perfect ending. We really enjoyed the evening - thanks, Paul!

Everything was beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and exactly what Christmas dinner should be. Such a lovely atmosphere, great service, and no stress — just good food and good company. A lovely friendly village pub with a great family feel. We use the pub for Sunday Lunch which is always fabulous. Dog friendly and always fun fun fun!!! Full of idiots like me!
